I'm not black, but I know a lot of black people love his movies and think he's a great filmmaker. I think his films are insulting to black people. I mean Madea and Leroy Brown from Meet the Browns are really horrible stereotypical characters. I mean Mr. Brown acts like one of those really old black face characters. I mean he seems pretty insulting to black people to me. And i know that Tyler Perry would say "I know people like that.", but if a white director made a movie that starred a black character like that, people would freak out. And the movie would be boycotted.

Tyler Perry isn't funny and he only resorts to characters mispronouncing words and acting ignorant in order to get cheap laughs. I mean if he actually took the time to write a funny script and stop with all the preachiness and characters with no depth, then he might make a movie that's actually good.
