Revelations that the Duchess of Windsor was unfaithful to her husband -- who abdicated the British throne to marry her -- will be the subject of a $7.6-million movie to be produced by Harry Alan Towers (aka Peter Welbeck) titled The Bahama Triangle. The London Daily Telegraph reported today (Thursday) that Faye Dunaway has been signed to play the Duchess and Michael York, the Duke. The part of the third man in the triangle, a rich F.W. Woolworth heir and open homosexual, Jimmy Donohue, has been offered to Jason Priestley, the former Beverly Hills 90210 costar who was seriously injured in a race-car accident last year. Towers told the Telegraph that he wrote the screenplay some 18 months ago, but set it aside because he had doubts that the movie-going public of today would be interested in the Windsors. However, he said, interest in recent sensational tabloid articles alleging that the former Wallace Simpson had engaged in another affair while courting the then Prince of Wales "proved me wrong and that it is time to make the film."
