It’s time to give Aretha Franklin a little R-e-s-p-e-c-t, because she’s been named the greatest singer of the rock era in a new poll. The 20-time Grammy winner beat out Paul McCartney and Mick Jagger, who came in at numbers 11 and 16! Put that in your pipe and smoke it! Ray Charles was the #2 winner, followed by Elvis Presley in third. The #4 spot goes to Sam Cooke, with John Lennon at #5. For the full list of winners, check out Rolling Stones this Friday, November 14th.
