Drew Barrymore's first feature film as a director, Whip It!, gets an original score composed by Mark Mothersbaugh. Based on Shauna Cross' novel "Derby Girl," the film is a roller derby comedy taking place in Texas, starring Marcia Gay Harden, Kristen Wiig, Juliette Lewis, Zoe Bell, Ellen Page and Drew Barrymore. Vincent Pictures produces for release next year. Mark Mothersbaugh recently scored Nick and Norah's Infinite Playlist and Fanboys, and also has the score for Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs coming up.
