Revealing mistakes: In the scene where the camera man bludgeons the "zombie" to death with the camera there is a shot of his shoes. It's incredible considering all the blood on the camera and on people's faces that he still has a fresh pair of kicks. moreFAQ

OK i keep this short.
original "REC" is WAY better then this lousy remake.
What annoyed me most is the total unrealistic camera. they tried to make it even "more" realistic then the original, almost constantly changing focus, more shaking, and so on... over the top, spastic.
Original "rec" got it right, one of the few really good fresh "first person" cam horror movies.
They tried to slightly change some of the key scenes, for the worst of it. Please producers, take your money and try something on your own. I really hope the original people behind "rec" got a good amount of licensing money from these wannabes.
Next time, just try to get movies like rec a bigger audience. please.. Stop making remakes no one needs.
To my horror brothers: WATCH THE ORIGINAL !
And to the lead lady.. please stay with "Dexter" and don't waste your talent on copy-cats like this.
