Fun Stuff

Trivia:
Composer A.R. Rahman and actress Shriya were part of this film's cast and crew. However, the AVM Company passed a rule that nobody making Rajnikanth's Sivaji (2007) should be involved in making this film, which forced the two of them out. They were respectively replaced with Himesh Reshammiya and Mallika Sherawat. more

A Masterpiece display of Talents and good Entertainer, 15 June 2008

Many user comments furnished a negative remark that the storyline wasn't strong enough. But the simplicity of the story has been the strong element to make the audience to understand the script, screen play, and linking all the ten versatile roles. Without the simplicity, the movie would have confused the audience. You start to astonish as the movie moves in a fast pace. And when you get to see each kamal on the big screen you get to astonish. When you see and feels the characterization you would really appreciate the effort, the excellence, the diligent hardwork, the talent, the team work etc etc..

The movie narration starts in 12th century.. you are pulled in to the movie for a roller coaster ride.. Then you are taken to a Scientific lab in USA.. its an informative and technical part. the stunt scene, chases are good.. The villain kamal excels in the role. And the racy screenplay drifts you to India. The Balram Naidu character was amusing & amazing (He can speak 5 languages in Telugu - :)).

Then you get to see Kamal as old grandMa, 7 feet man Pop singer, Socialist poovaragan, Kungfu Fighter. The Singer kamal scores when he deliver the dialog that he loves singing but thats profession and he loves his wife and sons and they are his life. Each and every one will realize the depth of the dialog in this scene.. excellently delivered.

Poovaragan gets his credit with the social message.. again a role to be appreciated. The fight scenes by the kung fu fighter was superb. good stunt sequence between the Villain kamal and the Japenese Kamal.

Lyrics are great and goes with movie. Graphics are good but some poor graphics could have been removed. All the roles are handled well. Asin both in 12 century role and as a usual heroine has done her role well. Except when see says utters perumala.. That could have been reduced a bit.

Mallika performs well in action scenes. Over all this movie is a good mixture of commercial, social message, Talent, technical stuff, information (chaos theory).. Each and every scene is countable in this movie.
